My Background in Sewing

While growing up, I loved being around my Grandmother, who was known for her sewing. She could sew any idea that you could come up with. My Grandmother taught my cousins, siblings and I basic sewing. We moved from hand stitching to the sewing machine as we got older. I wanted to make a dress for myself when I was a teenager. I went with my mother to the store. She helped me pick out the pattern and material for the dress and walked me through the process. I've made many dresses since then for myself. One was my first prom dress.
